What is the Orange Cap?
The Orange Cap is awarded to the leading run-scorer of each IPL season. It's a live-tracking award — the current holder wears the orange cap while batting, and it changes hands as the leaderboard shifts. The winner takes home the cap permanently at the end of the season.
