Hockey's oldest trophy
The Stanley Cup is the championship trophy of the National Hockey League — and, at over 130 years old, the oldest trophy competed for by professional athletes in North America. Lord Stanley of Preston donated it in 1892; the first Cup was awarded in 1893.
